Moot Court At Turtle Island
The Easy Siem'stum

The capacity for you to move a mountain is judged by the leverage of choice.

We are petitioning you to choose a lever named "siem'stum" which is hul'qumi'num for "respect".

Our direct application is to the Law Schools in Canada to establish a series of Moot Courts; through which we will seek to determine a Reasonable Man Test on the matter of Canada's entitlement to be registered as an accepted Member State at the United Nations.

Touchstone Committee will argue through the Negative Team that Canada has not attained legitimate entitlement according to international law standards to present itself to the UN as a legitimate state nation.

Further, we will offer that this quandary is a matter of easy resolve with the appropriate judicial-political attitude of the proclaimed founders.

The relevance of this Reasonable Man Test is to attain an equilibrium between tradition and contemporary spheres of land-title claim; wherein, both parties establish an equitable forum through which to present itself to the acceptance of the global community as a state-nation of ethical proclamation.

The benefit to University and College students for participating in this Moot Court forum will be to establish a Scholarship Benefits Portfolio in the International Indigenous Merchant House - which will substantially underwrite intellectual and degree pursuits; while, also, creating a Students Structured Trust Fund to be managed for World Peace initiatives.

The Asset Base for this Trust Fund will arise through commercial enterprises directed toward global electric power development through sustainable resource acquisition and development, in conjunction with establishing Survival Villages System  to meet the evident demands to be prepared for the imminent extreme climate changes that will jeopardize global food production.

Of Yes, about "Turtle Island" - that is the Americas; North Turtle Island is our contemporary North America.

In Truth,

Chairperson: Ralph Charles Goodwin / Yuxwule'tun @ Cowichan Tribes Coast Salish Nation.
