Editorial Note : TC produces this examination only for the purposes of seeking media coverage balance on issues of imperialism. The House of Windsor, alternately known as the "The Firm" - and, evidently, possessing great commercial success via unincorporated entities such as the "Club of the Isles" - exercises significant influence within commercial circles - including, media houses. The TC quest is merely to provide the petition for balance and equity in media coverage of this William & Kate Royal Wedding. It is the accumulative impression that this Royal Wedding represents a substantial investment in media coverage for the purposes of enriching the purses of the House of Windsor - at the expense of common sense. TC does whole heartily offer William & Kate a great wedding celebration; and, a future married life of good respect and mutual joy. But, let us also balance this media coverage with time to focus on the colonial heritage in Canada and throughout the British Empire and Commonwealth - of matters like land and resource acquisitions via the Indian Residential and Day Schools - which have resulted in massive [and, inadequate] compensation [Day Scholars Class Action commenced in 2009] to nearly 200,000 child victims; with the last Indian Residential School closing in 1996 [ERII reign commenced in 1953]. TC will consider addendum submissions to the UNHRC and ICJ regarding media attention to this Royal Wedding in comparison to legitimate equity coverage of the ongoing plight of IR&DSSVs.
